On-Air Master Control Operator for FOX related cable channels FX, SPEED, National Geographic, National Geographic WILD, FUEL, FSC, FSC+, & FOX Deportes. On-Air duties include maintaining on-air list for Seachange/Leitch/Profile based Services. Highly experienced in any on-air situation in both Live and Automated Rooms including HD suites. Also worked as a Media Operator which involved the daily ingest of commercials and television shows from Sony HD Cam and Panasonic D5 and other digital sources.
1998-2003 Ring Of Fire Studios Santa Monca, CA Night Operations Manager
Managed Night Crew at high end VFX company. While working at Ring of Fire many clients from well established advertising agencies, editorial and production companies such as Deutsch Advertising, TBWA\Chiat\Day, Young and Rubicam and Chrome Editorial chose Ring of Fire for commercials and music video work (including mult. Super Bowl spots). Production Manager/camera operator on internal VFX shoots. Also handled the daily vault operations which included tracking and storing film, tape and audio elements.
Software Experience: Final Cut Pro, Adobe Premiere, Sony Vegas, Sound Forge, Avid Pinnacle, DV Architect, Sound Designer II, Pro Tools, Photoshop, Illustrator, FETCH and on-air applications such as Seachange, Profile and Leitch based services. Also familiar with Louth Hardware and Grass Valley Switchers.
Encoding/Transcoding: I have an extensive background in transcoding all HD video formats. Proficient in FCP and other HD format conversions, including Red cameras (R3D) extensions.
Tape room experience: Have worked with all SD/HD tape formats, BetaSP, D.Beta, Panasonic D5, and Sony HDCAM.
